Associate General Counsel
Michael works primarily with The Penn State Milton S. Hershey Medical Center and Penn State College of Medicine on business and health care transactional/regulatory matters, and other day-to-day operational issues. Prior to joining the Office of General Counsel, Michael was in private practice where he advised The Pennsylvania State University, affiliated entities and workforce members on a wide range of healthcare, corporate, employment and research related matters. He received his undergraduate degree in Biology/Pre-Medicine from Elizabethtown College, his Master’s Degree in Public Administration from The Pennsylvania State University and his law degree from The Dickinson School of Law of The Pennsylvania State University, where he was the recipient of The Jack M. Mumford Memorial Health Law Scholarship.
