Associate General Counsel
Jennifer M. Eck is Associate General Counsel at The Pennsylvania State University. Prior to joining the Office of General Counsel, Jennifer was Senior Counsel in the Corporate and Finance Group at Dickstein Shapiro LLP in Washington, DC. For over 18 years, her practice was concentrated on corporate transactional matters, including mergers and acquisitions, reorganizations and other strategic transactions for private and public companies, as well as general business contracts, corporate governance and financing matters. She also advised investment companies and their independent trustees and investment advisers on disclosure, compliance, conflicts of interest and other issues arising under the federal securities laws. Prior to law school, Jennifer was an Audit Manager at Deloitte & Touche LLP in Washington, DC.
Jennifer received her B.S. in Accounting from The Pennsylvania State University, With Highest Distinction, and her J.D. from The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, where she was the Editor-in-Chief of the North Carolina Journal of International Law and Commercial Regulation and graduated Order of the Coif.
