Amy Kim is an Associate General Counsel at The Pennsylvania State University. Prior to joining the Office of General Counsel, Amy served for four years in the Office of General Counsel at Georgetown University where she focused on transactional matters and student issues. Amy previously held positions in the General Counsel offices of George Washington University (two years) and the University of Chicago (12 years). During her years of in-house higher education experience, she has worked on a wide variety of matters including contracts, real estate, construction, student affairs, compliance, research, Title IX, ADA, intellectual property, grants and contracts management, environmental and safety, risk management, tax, licensing, non-profit corporate and international matters.
Amy graduated from Bryn Mawr College with a B.A. in Political Science and from Indiana University Bloomington School of Law with a J.D.
